EG Grow aims to nurture individuals in various areas of self-improvement. It comprises several key elements:
Giving is a large part of EG’s culture. Through various programs, the team has many opportunities to support those in need. EG currently sponsors a number of charities including, Half the Sky Foundation, which cares for orphaned children in China.
Our team in Manila works closely with a local childcare facility, St Martin de Porres, which supports underprivileged families. EG assists these charities through financial support and the team members participate by donating time, clothing, toys and through personal giving.
EG invests in regular health checks for all. Informal sport and training among team members is also encouraged and often sponsored by EG.
Team members’ families are included in quarterly EG Culture events, usually coinciding with school holidays. This gives us the chance get to know each other’s families by doing things like snorkelling, beach days and picnics.
Team EG spends a Friday afternoon every six weeks participating in cultural or sporting activities including indoor skydiving, comedy, art classes, trapeze and archery.
Our people are encouraged to develop entrepreneurial ideas with the opportunity to participate in equity. The program promotes lateral thinking and entrepreneurial thinking.
We believe enthusiasm for life beyond work is vital to staying motivated in the office. EG promotes a team hobby program where our people pick a course to learn a new cultural or sporting skill each year.
